Mireidy Fernandez is the Portfolio Manager for the Miami-Dade County, Strategic Procurement Department Procurement Academy. She is responsible for developing, overseeing, and running the Procurement Academy and working on special projects. Since the Academy’s launch, she has worked arduously to bring high quality programming to the Academy by partnering with regional, national, and international entities such as City of Santa Fe, State of Maryland, Canada, Lithuania, Scotland and more. Mireidy has 17 years of local government experience (public policy, urban planning, and procurement) and 13 years of private sector experience. She holds degrees in Public Administration, Communications, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and Education.
